SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT
Social media content has been a very prominent part of the marketing strategy. Being the creative lead for Six Star, I was tasked to upgrade the quality of the visual content being showcased on our page. Since the marketing spend on social was not large, we had to use Instagram as an example of what type of quality content we were able to produce. The executive team was very impressed with the quality of content that was generated by myself and the team over the course of 4 months. Below you will see some different samples and approaches myself and the team took to create some new and refreshing content.
9-Tile xp sports brand launch take over post
We wanted to get the brand started off an impact so I created a 9-tile takeover grid for the XP Sports organic social feed. I wanted to shot a lot of motion, colour, and detail behind the brand. Messaging was also incorporated to give consumers a first glance at our launch campaign.
In addition to the 9-tile grid, I added interior carousel tiles to key tiles on the grid. Each tile provided different aspects of what XP Sports has to offer. From flavour cues, gaming, ingredients, product benefits, and branding, I tried to encompass all of these features in this initial launch.
XP SPORTS PAID MEDIA
The goal of this task was to bring more awareness to the brand by building up our email list. I created 4 different posts with slightly altered messaging to promote XP Sports. Having various paid posts with different visuals gave us the ability to test which version resonated the best with our audience. This was a great success as we were able to compile over 14,000 sign ups.
XP SPORTS VARIOUS CONTEST AND PRODUCT POSTS
Here are a few examples of past contests and promotions we have ran on our social media platforms. Some were boosted while others were organic.
SIX STAR PRO NUTRITION PAID MEDIA
This hydration product was part of our Six Star portfolio for a while now. The executive and brand team decided that hydration drinks were trending and wanted to test the market to see if there was any interest in our product. We pointed all of our paid media to our amazon.com page. We tested two versions, one that was product focused and the other two were pro athlete lifestyle based. After the ads ran for over a month the results were very positive. This sku was turning around 10-20 units per month, but after we ran these ads the units boosted up to over 200 units per month. We found additional learnings from this process and are currently testing a second round of ads that will be launching shortly.
SIX STAR PRO NUTRITION LAUNCHES It’S FIRST EVER
PRE-WORKOUT READY-TO-DRINK
This was a very highly anticipated launch that we executed recently. A new product listing at Walmart, we wanted to create excitement through our social media channel to bring product awareness. There were a series of posts we created to bring hype towards this launch that carried over the course of a week. The marketing dollars spent on boosting these posts were very small, but the reach had definitely shown improvement with the combination of the media spend, contest giveaway, and vibrant compelling content.
